Firstly, we must examine that affiliate marketing is an Internet job. Many people become skeptic when being informed of this for many reasons. Most websites that offer Internet jobs are scams that take your money and leave you in the dust. They offer you get rich quick schemes and instant millionaire success. As we all know this isn't possible and if it was then everyone would be working from the Internet. Affiliate marketing is one of the very few Internet jobs that can actually provide you with a full time income. The reason being is that affiliate marketing is just like any other “job”. It takes hard work, dedication and experience to become successful. But the possibilities are endless, you can take your time building your business while still spending time with your children, you can work on your own schedule when you want to, you are your own boss.
So, what is affiliate marketing ?Well affiliate marketing is the promotion of a product hence the marketing part. The affiliate part of the term comes from you being an affiliate of another person or company. When you promote someone else's product you are an affiliate of them and when you generate a sale for that product you are credited with a percentage of the product price. As an affiliate you are given a unique code that you use in your links that allow the person or company to know that you generated the sale. Because of this you will be credited a percentage of the product price which can be anywhere from 5%-75%.
In order to generate sales through your unique codes you must learn the basics of affiliate marketing.

This can all be done with out any pre knowledge. I started from scratch, I had no internet marketing experience, English is my second language and I am now making good money with affiliate marketing. The best part is that I am home with my two kids working on my own terms.
